Since I left Congress representing District 8 in 2001, I have encouraged Dan Webster to run for this seat. This time he did and is the Republican nominee. I can think of no one who would make a finer, more honorable Representative for the people of Central Florida than Dan Webster. And what a contrast to Grayson! Dan is a values conservative. He is highly principled, articulate, and polite. And he is a proven leader having been the Speaker of the Florida House and a great State Senator. Grayson is extremely liberal, brash and arrogant. His antics have been an embarassment.
If you live in District 8, please not only vote for Dan Webster, but e-mail or call your friends and neighbors and ask them to do the same. And whether you live in his district or not, go to Dan’s website and volunteer to help him and/or make a contribution to his campaign. This race is a must. Everyone who can should get involved. With your help Dan Webster will win and be part of a huge freshmen class of Republicans that will begin the process of turning Washington around and providing an era of conservative governance.
